You don't need a cd key or a serial to play. To be able to save
your game, create an OFFLINE Windows Live account (When prompted
to do so in the game, scroll down and select "create a local
profile" [something on those lines]) and block the game from
connecting to the internet in your firewall settings.
Do BOTH things and you're ok.
